Mr. R.K. Das
ADVISORMr. R.K. Das is a pioneer in sustainability and energy efficiency in SME sector in India, in partnership with Govt. of India, World Bank, KfW and GIZ, Germany. As the Country Head in Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), he implemented Energy Efficiency Programme in more than 80 SME clusters, benefiting more than 2000 enterprises. He also promoted Environment & Social (E&S) standards and responsible financing in the banking sector. He also managed and operationalized World Bank SME Project along with partners like DFID, UK, KfW and GIZ, Germany, SDC, Switzerland and JICA, Japan. He led and prepared SME development strategy for the Govt. of Egypt. He has also worked at the Reserve Bank of India and various Govt of India Ministries (Finance, MSME, Skill and Education) for policy making.
