Our founder Director Late Mr. Dev Miterr (Automobile Engineer from UK), started Emdet Engineers as a sole proprietorship firm manufacturing steering wheels in hard rubber in 1960 indigenously for TATA- Daimler Benz - Jamshedpur. Emdet has incorporated it into 'Private Limited' in 1970. Being the pioneer in the manufacturing of steering wheels in the country, & bagged market share in a short span of time.
1986 - Mr. Naavniit Miterr after completing education in US took over as the Managing Director of the company, after the demise of his father Late Mr. Dev Miterr
Now, Miter And Miter located in Pantnagar & Pune facility too is steered by Mr. Nishchay Miterr, son of Managing Director.

When it comes to lighting, we are in the most revolutionary time since Thomas Edison’s creation of the light bulb. The Indian lighting industry has undergone a significant transformation owing to the arrival of LED lighting. The technology of LED lighting has grown rapidly over the past few decades. LED lighting has become a mainstream in commercial spaces, industrial spaces, schools, hospitals, and even residences. However, there is so much more that can be accomplished than simply providing illumination. Our Company has established the Fully automatic LED Bulb Manufacturing Unit at our Dharuhera facility since last year. The main focus of our division is to promote energy saving lights. We have 2 SMT lines, PCB assembly lines with auto double wave soldering machine and 2 Automatic Bulb assembly lines. Its is with the capacity of 15 Lakh bulbs per month.
